Plockton High School is a 350-pupil high school in the village of Plockton, Scotland. Although situated in a small village, the catchment area for the school stretches from Applecross in the north to Glenelg in the south. Since the opening of the Skye Bridge, increasing numbers of pupils from South Skye, who would have traditionally gone to Portree High School, have instead attended Plockton High School. The school has a small hostel to cater for pupils who live far enough away that it would be impractical to travel in every day during the week.

Since its inauguration in 2000, the Sgoil Chiùil na Gàidhealtachd (National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music) has been located at the High School and is a music school in Scotland. The centre provides high quality tuition for talented young musicians. Any secondary school age pupil in Scotland can apply, and students from all over Scotland attend, most of whom stay in the school's hostel.
The charity started in the summer of 1995 when a group of sixth year computing students at Plockton High School competed for a Royal Bank of Scotland Information Technology Innovation Award. Rather than creating some new application on the latest of machinery, their winning entry chose to collect and take redundant computers to a new location where fellow students would otherwise have no access to such equipment. Since then, annually, teams from Plockton High School have travelled to Africa and have set up centres in South Africa, Kenya, Malawi, Lesotho and Zambia.
